Ronnie Del Carmen

ronnie del carmen paper biscuit

Ronnie Del Carmen works at Pixar as a story artist, story supervisor, character designer, and illustrator. On top of having the coolest job in the world, he even finds time to self-publish his own comic, Paper Biscuit. Add the fact that he has a fantastic blog, Tirade, and you have one incredibly creative and busy guy. (Don’t forget to check out Fragments, with fellow Pixarian Enrico Casarosa.)

I had found his site months ago (I think right after SDCC because I remember his comic had been released then). I forgot to bookmark it and had forgotten all about it until now. What a talent! Once again, thanks to Drawn for the linkage.

.. it's well done I guess but very derivative of french illustrator Kiraz, who everyone seems to try to emulate for some reason these days...

  • Wow, this guy is amazing! I wish I had his job! I guess I'll just have to settle for being a painter-in-the-making/gardener/tech-support-geek.

Thanks for the awesome post Ward!
  • Oop! I'm an idiot. Sorry about that. It was very late and I wasn't paying attention. Thanks, Kloink. It's fixed now.
  • Kloink
I'm sorry but his name is Ronnie Del Carmen, not CarMAN.
I totally agree with you that he's an incredible artist. Ronnie rocks!
