Isabelle Arsenault

Montreal illustrator Isabelle Arsenault studied graphic design before plunging herself into the world of illustration, and it definitely shows in her composition and ideas. I especially like her recurring palette of muted blues and reds. The link to her childrens’ illustration makes me pine for a whole collection of kids books illustrated by her.

  • AAiYEEEEyah!!! You just totally made my weekend! I've been in love with Isabelle Arsenault for eons (well... not Isabelle herself, although I'm certain she's all hot and stuff... i'm just not that kinda girl. not that there's anything wrong with that) but the last time I did a google search on her, all I could come up with was an article in Communication Arts or something. Now, look! a whole website full of her amazing work. Swoon!!! jst the inspiration I need. Thanks a million, Johnny Marx. You rock!

While I am a fan of her work, I can't help but notice some striking similarities between her and Gerard Dubois' work. Maybe I'm crazy:

    Both are great artists anyway.
