Beautiful vintage posters

Will Kane over at The World of Kane, has a slew of posts with works by poster designers David Klein, Donald Brun, Herbert Leupin, Tom Eckersley, and Abram Grames.

The Ronald Searle TV Guide illustrations of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ain’t half-bad either!

  • oh what a lovely poster is that. And thnx for those lovely links that you have provided. It's really a great peice of art and seems really very beautiful!
  • These are gorgeous! My only lament is that they're not larger.
  • Thanks for the plug John.

For me, Herbert Leupin was the real find, I think he's a genius.
Visually witty and incredibly varied in the way he approached each design.

  • Amazing work!
  • I still haven’t figured out how you make every image look good, except that you have a talent for image enhancement. This one image would serve well in color to the colors in my home. Every color is perfect (to me) and so I will look at more. But it is interesting to see what I think are “my” colors all there in one piece of art.

Thank you for your talented work!
  • Hong Kong~my home : )
The woman is what a traditional Cantonese opera singer like.
They did a good job on the designs. I like this cultural things.
