Annlaug Auestad

The images from Norway’s Annlaug Auestad are adorable. If, like me, you don’t speak a lick of Norwegian, just happily click everything like I did — I’m sure you’ll find something you like. Worthy of note are the sketchy paper collage/sculpture illustrations.

  • Fun to see a fellow norwegian illustrator mentioned here at Drawn!

"mest illustrasjoner men LITT design også" means "mostly illustrations, but also some design".
  • Hey! Sooooooooooo sweet. Loving and recollecting my childhood. :-)

Oh, and, the translation posted by Peter is good. :)

Ah, nice to see a norwegian artist that I didn't know about! (Being norwegian and all it's always nice to come across norwegians that do good work.) A nice, fluid style here, with just enough rough edges to make it fun ... :)
  • Welcome...

    Annlaug
    presents:
    a show and
    an exhibition.

    * Mostly illustrations, but also SOME design.
    * Here various pictures and drawings are shown.

And ekstraforestilling = extra show, probably

The pig's sign at the start says "Welcome", and I think the main screen says "Annlaug presents: a show and an exhibit", black* possibly says "mostly illustrations, but also LITT design" (what's that?) and yellow* is "Here [something][something] pictures and illustrations".

I can read some basic words in Scandinavian languages like "og" (and), and the longer words look like Dutch, but don't always mean the same, so no guarantee on my translation
