Drawn! The Illustration and Cartooning Blog

While his website shows much developmental character and background art, the more personal illustrations of Bob MacNeil, such as this fantastic Rhino, are what truly make the visit to his site worth it. Particularly worthy of note is the inspirational image he created in response to reading Flight comics, and which was printed in the back of Flight 3. Bob tells the story, in that book, of how in a time of much tragedy in his life, the heartfelt stories and comics in Flight inspired him to not only create this image, but to not give up on his aspirations to continue creating artwork. We here at Drawn! are all about searching out creative inspiration, so it’s great to read stories like this and see the results…
