On My Desk: Creative folk share their workspaces

On My Desk is a new blog with a wonderfully novel focus: taking a look at the desks and workspaces of artists and other creative individuals. It’s fascinating to see not only the physical workspaces of other artists, but to also see how they decorate their space to make it personal and to divine inspiration.

If your workspace is shown, make sure you have a good host, not photobucket. Since my studio was on over a month ago, they’ve been the #1 incoming hit with 29,450 hits, 400KB/view, 2.3GB…
I didn’t optimize, and I run my own server, but I had no idea that this neat little blog drew so many visitors.
Some people have truly impressive habitats posted. Like this gentlemen here, what a beautiful meadow!
Hi Eric, you can always edit your post so that the images are stored locally on blogger if it helps.
BTW Thanks for the post John.
Cheers,
Linzie

Not complainin’ just warnin’ …thanks Linzie!
this is fun. It’s always cool to see other artists working spaces.
I have collected items of inspiration for years as they are filling up my studio. It has helped me over the years. Ofcourse my walls are for ongoing designs, paintings and older work I have produced. I have placed all my stuff on a high shelf that runs the length and with of my rooms in Studio. Other larger items are in bigger rooms. I need to SEE this stuff often. There are stories that go with each item.
~peace – out~
Monumental! I learned for years
Thank you

[...] I was starting to slip into unconsciousness this afternoon until I stumbled upon the photos of Jojo Yeung’s workspace in the studio-blog, On My Desk. If you’ve been following the blog (which we blogged about earlier), you’ll agree that Jojo actually seems to live her illustration (I mean – check out that bird clock!). Says Jojo, “No matter where I am, my world is always colorful. : )” [...]
I think that this site is fantastic! It’s great to see where other people work and how! I am in desperate need of a studio space in London, if anyone has any ideas..please write…I am living in my parents dining room at the momet and have to work on my bed as there is no other room. Drawing boards, shelves, paintings, easels, boxes surround me. I need space…help!
