Appelhans Across America
Good ol’ Chris Appelhans is getting (well-deserved) props for his work on Monster House all over the web, and golly geez are his paintings nifty! His very fun Frog Hat Studios site is full of ‘em if you’d like to see more. But you know what? He’s also an accomplished cartoonist with an absolutely delightful little strip called Frank and Frank, which I highly recommend. He’s from Idaho, btw. You know… like potatoes.

Though I have not had the pleasure of tasting any of his delicious pies, I have to add my vote that Chris is greatly talented (let’s not forget his music!)
His art is always a great source of inspiration.
