Jeaux Janovsky

Jeaux Janovsky does it all: animation, illustration, and comics. On top of that, Jeaux does all three in a unique, one-of-a-kind, over-the-top style that is all his. In addition to running his own blog, All My Heroes Have Day Jobs, Jeaux has recently started a second blog over on the Frederator website called Lunch Break. Also, be sure to check out Double Date Collective, a site that Jeaux runs with his talented girlfriend, Cristina Paulos.

  • Jeaux,

That pretty much rules. I freakin' love it.

Brilliant, as usual. You can do no wrong. If I owned a house that had a foyer, I'd hire you to paint a mural on the wall. It would be like Jackson Pollack, but Jeaux style for the new millenium.

Jeaux' work always makes me nostalgic for time of old. . . you know 1984 playing Donkey Kong at Mamamini Mart is a small California town. . .

Jeaux is THE MAN! How do I know this? Because I have looked him straight in the beard and seen a soul of pure brillaince. Plus, his name ends with an "X" which automatically makes him a God among men.

  • Jeaux rocked out some really nice pages for the upcoming Wide Awake 666 horror anthology, (now available for preorder at your local comic shop).

Your style is funky fresh with a faint smell of glue stick. We are looking forward to having some custom illustrations up at www.wideawakepress.com soon.

    Jeaux rox!

    Your still Joseph to me!

    Joseph:

I still remember when you started out! You started out TRACING! Look where it has gotten you! I see you are getting noticed in other countries now! I'm impressed! Your next step was down sizing posters and up sizing trading cards! You Did a Mario Brothers booklet and when you showed it to a comic artist ( I don't think he liked the idea of you doing other peoples chariters) and what he liked about it was the facial exprestions! He said with that you will go far! I will be back with more tidbits about you son!

    Dad
  • Wow. Thanks for all the comments, encouragement, and support everyone. It's truly appreciated.
The comic book artist my dad is referring to in his posting was, back then, little known Rob "501 blues jeans star" Liefield. That guy still can't draw feet. I was in 4th or 5th grade then, and was just happy to show my work to another Artist. The home-made comic I showed Rob was my own fan art Super Mario Adventure. Funny how some things never change. (see pic above of Supa Mario!)
Thanks for the Drawn Shoutout Jared!
