Scratchboard illustrator Michael Halbert has a gallery of over 500 scratchboard illustrations on his website. But the real goldmine is his selection of tutorials. Many of the tutorials are medium-independant, so it doesn’t matter what your style is, they’re still worth a look — especially how he modifies pictures in Photoshop to create his own custom photo reference.
