Cai Guo-Qiang

This isn’t usually the kind of stuff you’ll find on Drawn!, but woah. Head On is a piece by artist Cai Guo-Qiang. His site is a clickable treasure hunt — plenty more stunning installations like this to find (featuring equally unfortunate animals).
(via Kean).

Funnily enough, I saw this catalogue today at a discount bookstore. I’ve been thinking about it ever since I saw Cai’s images on Matthew Woodson’s blog.
I think you might be able to order the book here, if anyone’s interested.

Dude that’s totaly nuts!
Love the site too
Are those real? That’s awful!
The site of Cai Guo-Qiang is awesome, cool link.
Wow!! incredible! and those tigers full of arrows are great too.
They aren’t real. He recently had an exhibition at the Met, didn’t really like anything there. The stuff he exhibited a few years back was a lot better. I LOVE his gunpowder paintings and would love to see one on my wall. He’s based out of NYC now.
This is brilliant….
