Illustrators’ visions of Santa Claus

santaillos.jpgWith the fat man’s impending visit tonight, we should honour the folks who actually gave him that red suit, snowy white beard, and jelly belly. Over at Lines and Colors, Charley Parker hooks us up with a sleighful of links to the illustrators who helped define what Santa Claus actually looks like: Thomas Nast, J.C. Leyendecker, Haddon Sundblom, and Norman Rockwell. Ho ho ho!

  • Norman Rockwell is my favorite, but all of their visions are awesome!

    Merry Christmas people!
