These sites bring up an interesting question. I saw a design with a stylized photo of Bob Dylan in one of them. Is there an issue with copyright here if it's someone else's photography?

How should designers and these sites handle this issue? I know the general rule is that you have to change something so much so the source is not recognizable anymore. Do we have any legal experts in the house?

Ohh, this post is bringing out all of us proprietors!

a little background - i've been reading drawn for a few years now - long time fan.
I want to give a little plug for my shop - skreened! (exclamation point no relation to drawn!)

So we've been around since last summer and just launched a new (slightly web 2.0ish) site.

the biggest thing - we only print on American apparel - and our shirts are 14.99 + artists commission!

Thanks for the props Johnny.

You're right about the 'how do you get to see the good stuff when it's so full' issue as well - and it's something we're working on getting up and running as soon as there are shirts-a-plenty to pull from :)

And errr, do you take requests? Because the Poo! shirt in Kids size would just be awesome for my nephews!

Anyhoo, cheers again and if anyone has any comments or thoughts on the site at all (be they good, bad or somewhere in between) we'd really appreciate and value them.
