Over the course of eighteen years, Mark Story photographed people who had lived past the ripe old age of 100. The resulting portraits and profiles can be seen on his site. Beautiful.

Beautiful portraits ! Though I’m not sure if I would want to hang one at home…
Impressing storys and pictures about the age. But in the end, there seems always to be a sad face. Im not sure if that was intended, because life isnt sad at all.

Wow, fascinating. I wish he had more info on his photo-processing…and how he lit the sitters. Very dramatic…their faces seemed carved in stone.
