I’m proud to say that I have an original poster of Stasys here… I love Polisch posters!
There is actually a documentary about Polisch Posters called ‘Freedom of the Fence’ made by a research team of the Oregon State University. Stasys is among the artists being interviewed. I have not seen it since I do not live in the US. But maybe they will make a DVD.

And of course I had to Google him because there are just too many consonants in these people’s names.

If anything good came out of communism it was government subsidized Polish posters–everything from movie posters, including much superior movie posters of US films, to public service announcements, they did it with class.
