Wikipedia as cartoons
WikiWorld is a brilliant collection of cartoon versions of Wikipedia entries. Drawn by cartoonist Greg Williams, and reminiscent of other info-comics like Ripley’s Believe it or Not or Steve McGarry’s Pop Culture, the cartoons are expertly drawn (heck, Williams even captured Colbert’s wonky right ear). And as a bonus for myself, at least, the cartoons so far are all fun geeky things I love like They Might Be Giants, John Hodgman, Star Trek, and …Extreme Ironing?
I’ve been seeing this on Wikipedia and MySpace. They’re great!
