The same style was used in the story books sold in stores. I think she's done the story books for Nemo and Monsters and Incredibles, too. Check them out. I felt that I wanted to see them animated, too.

Ditto what Jed said. I enjoyed Ratatouille, but once I saw those amazing animated sequences following the film, I left my heart in the entertaining credits. I thought the same thing: I would have LOVED the movie were it animated in the style shown AFTER the movie. It had such life and character, like the kind of animation I grew up on. Gawd I miss that kind of work.

I stayed to the very end of the movie, thru the awesome credits! Ususally the movie credits tell the people the get
up and leave, but in ratatouille, the credits, art and typography was the icing or cherry on the cake. SO CREATIVE!
Susan and her 'entourage' (another french word) were/are
tops!

I actually preferred the animation in the titling to the rest of the animation in ratatouille. I wish the whole movie had been animated that way!
