Oh crap! My first time getting blogged on DRAWN! and It's a time I got it wrong :(

While the MW cover was Chip's, after putting this post up I learned (from a comment on the post by the man himself) that the Dororo covers were actually by Vertical's then-recently hired new Art Director Peter Mendelsund!

At the time, the covers were only available via Amazon, so they had no attribution. I've now gotten my hands on volumes 1 & 2 and Peter's name is adorning the back. So, that moment will be for Peter this time.

In Chip news though, I recently saw a talk by him at MoCCA about his upcoming Bat-Manga! book and it is glorious and beautiful.
