This brief but enjoyable interview with Australian children’s book creator Shaun Tan is worth watching if only for the moment in which he describes how, upon always being asked when he started drawing, he simply responds with his own question: when did you stop? Shaun also talks about inspiration, the subconscious, and the various benefits of working on small independent projects vs. large-scale ones.
