Watch Chris Piascik draw an improvised drawing from start to finish. Chris explains that these doodles start with him randomly scribbling out a loopy pattern and then filling it in. I’m quite impressed with the quality of production in this video; I’d love to see a whole series with all sorts of artists.
I went to college with Chris. The kid is as awesome in life as he is in art.
as an artist, having people watch me work is one of the most distracting, annoying practices in the history of EVER. but it is fascinating, and instructional.

that’s awesome. I’d love to try drawing with back-light like that. Agree that a series of videos with all kinds of artists would be great to see.
