Colour Design in 101 Dalmations

Over on his blog, Oswald Iten is undertaking a frame-by-frame analysis of Walt Peregoy’s use of colour in Disney’s 101 Dalmations (DVD Link).

The posts are extremely detailed and grounded in both animation and art history; essentially a master class in color design.

When I see people undertaking projects of this nature, I’m struck dumb. What else can I say except, I love you, Internet?
