A Record of Life is a beautiful animated film by Owen Gatley and Luke Jinks based on the theme of evolution and the mysteries and diversity of life on earth. Art and science have never looked better together.

    This is real pretty watercolor work in video.
    But, I have to ask for a moratorium on using curvy waves to give a dramatic sense of depth. I have been guilty of this too but I think it’s an overused trope.

    But it’s hard to believe that the beauty, complexity, and diversity could be created without intelligence behind it.
