Aaaand we’re back

Sorry for the downtime, ladies and gents. Switching servers should have taken less than hour, but of course, we all know the site’s history with technical problems! This was hopefully the last of them!

I was working with either an incomplete or corrupt backup of the site, so all attempts for a simple switch were failing. All the while I had a big illustration job with a looming deadline, and well, you know how it is!

We’re now hosted with Media Temple, which has a pretty strong reputation, so I’m hopeful that the site’s technical troubles are finally behind us (knock on wood). Those of you who have been with us from the beginning know that the site was originally hosted on the low-end of a shared hosting package, which we quickly outgrew, and each subsequent move to new servers (headaches though they may be) remind me of how popular the site is, which is all thanks to you, the readers!

Regular posting will resume shortly (I still have those deadlines to meet!). I hope none of you were too starved for creative inspiration in the past week!

Edit: The Forum is still down, but will be back up soon (be forgiving if it acts a little wonky at first).
