    The picture is from a worlds history for children. A serie of 6 books published in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Turkey. This particular drawing illustrates a story from the bible; one of the ten plauges God put on Pharao and the people of Egypt because they where holding the hebrews as slaves. The angels task is to kill all the firstborn sons in Egypt. That’s why he’s sad.
