Andertoons

Mark Anderson, who brands himself Andertoons, is perhaps the most eager and enthusiastic cartoonist you’re likely to meet. I don’t know another working cartoonist who seems to be as purely giddy about the medium as Mark. His enthusiasm shows not only in his blog, but also his business website that’s constantly evolving into a full-blown e-commerce site.

I think you’ve got Mark down: enthusiastic and a real pro (not to mention he cooks a mean pork burger!). He’s invested a lot of forethought and time to the business of cartooning.

Aussie cartoonist Jason Chatfield (www.jasonchatfield.com), visiting the States last week, said when we met, “Oh I know your work.” He had seen some photos of me at my pal’s Mark Anderson’s blog. “Yes, Australians read the Andertoons blog,” he told me.

    That Anderson’s a worldwide phenom!

Good to see a magazine cartoonist mentioned on the ol’ Drawn blog.

    Indeed!
Mark’s a real go-getter; a credit to this funny little industry we call cartooning. It was great to meet you Mike, especially after seeing your work on the ultimate massively popular hit sensation down under that is the Andertoons cartoon blog. Soon enough he’ll be doing sold out tours with women throwing their pencils on stage :)
