Animated Commercial from Sylvain Chomet

Amid points us towards a great new animated commercial by Sylvain Chomet, director of last year’s Triplets of Belleville.

The “tomorrow-monster” looks very inspired by Japanese other-ness. A great style for the director, if that’s where he’s headed.

    I totally dig it. Looks like he could easily expand that into a feature film, considering the narration is the only thing that seems related to the advertised service.

    It’s pretty cool… the creature is very Miyazaki-ish, I think. Like that hunger spirit from Spirited Away.
