Aviation industry safety posters

This collection of safety posters from the 80s and 90s for the aviation industry, most of which are illustrated, are terribly kitschy and unintentionally hilarious. Caution! Chopper would make a fantastic album cover!

    This is pretty cool. This kind of ultra-junk illustrating is the stuff that gets forgotten about easily or ignored since it has no perceived value beyond hanging on the walls in industrial tool sheds. I wish there were more resources for this kind of stuff out there, and I would love it if there were more posts like this here.

    Give a little more credit to these poster designers. Some of these ARE obviously intended to be hillarious; just because an industry group paid for something doesn’t mean they mandate them to be dry. I DEFY you to tell me that the “holy shit, what just fell off our plane?!” ad wasn’t intended to make people laugh.
