Bad Machinëry by John Allison

Lifelong friend, ex-War buddy and godfather to my prize-winning guppies, webcomic creator John Allison is certainly someone to sit up and take notice of! Located in Manchester, UK and beloved internationally by both bright children and discerning adults alike, Mr. Allison’s previously long running Scary Go Round was a tour de force which ran for seven and a half glorious years. Never one to repeat himself (except after a hearty meal), Sir John has cleared his desk and schedule to make way for his latest foray into the collective hearts and minds of his readers, Bad Machinery! But don’t take it from me, let’s hear what John Allison thinks:

“Bad Machinery is the story of two small Nancy Drews racing off against three small Hardy Boys to solve sinister local mysteries. They are deadly enemies. The mysteries are based on historical folk myths and (upon completion of the 100-page arcs) can be used to gain extra credit at your local witch hunt or table-tapping seance. It will update from Monday to Thursday (and on the occasional Friday) which I think is more than enough for anybody.”

Thank you John and I’m sure I speak for each and every one of your faithful and fervent fans when I say, four funnies a week is far more than adequate; it’s stupendous!

In response to the last panel’s “…some of us are busy growing our beards.”; I had been pinching at the hairs on my chinny chin chin trying to discern how long I must wait for my scruffel to qualify as a beard.

Anyhoo, thanks for pointing this out, I’ll be sure to check it out when I have more time.
