Better Homes & Gardens Decorating Book

Our own Ward Jenkins has posted some fantastic scans of a 1956 Better Homes & Gardens Decorating Book on his blog, as well as photos of a mural he is painting based on the book’s illustrations. Nice! (The full set of scans is in a Flickr set)

    Oh thanks for the heads up. This is a byootiful book and I swiftly found one on eBay and got the darned thing within minutes of seeing the mention on Drawn. And it reminds me that my stepmom has this wonderful 50s guide to her Singer sewing machine that has been religiously kept next to the actual, still-running-fine-thanks-very-much sewing machine for all these years. Must scan that sucka!
