Bill Melendez Interview

In this interview from one of my personal favorites in the animation industry, Bill Melendez talks about everything from getting his start from Walt Disney himself, his favorite characters to animate, as well as the World War II training films he worked on back in the 40s.

What a cool guy. I like how he says that he considered moving from Disney to Warner Bros “a step up”. What an amazing career! To START with Disney, and go from Disney to WB, and then UPA, and then do some of the most pioneering animation for TV in history with the Peanuts cartoons. And its great to hear the joy in voice, when he talks about how much he loves what he does.

I couldn’t agree with you more Jed.
Can you believe this guy is in his 90s?
He certainly doesn’t act like it!
