Black and White

Oh man! Black and White is a new micro-mini mini-series by Yam Roll (previously) creator Jon Izen. If you’re in need of a good giggle this Monday, what are you waiting for?? I love it so much I want to marry it. THAT’S CRAZY!! OH MAN!!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go watch them all again. Hee hee hee…

    In many ways it reminds me of La Linea (“The Line”) the Italian animated series created by Osvaldo Cavandoli. I wonder if those guys from the past would be doing flash animation today if they did not have the means to put it on film. How many potential animators never made it in the past because the tools were not available back then. Makes you wonder.

    I does make you wonder how many potential animators fell to the wayside due to the cost of necessary hardware needed to create animation in the old days. What a great time for small, independent animators to have software like Flash and Toon Boom Studio. And GarageBand & other software to make soundtracks.

    B&W is fun. Great use of simple line, color and movement.
