I’ve seen Chris’s work and his website before; always terrific work, with a wonderful style that’s both classic and contemporary. For my money, the best traditional 3D work out there.

I remember Chris Sickels from a decade ago, before he started doing 3D work. He was successful as a 2D illustrator/painter of red-nosed people. I really admire the way he reinvented himself and pushed his career in a new direction. Very fresh and beautiful work.

Chris’ work is absolutely awesome. Being 2 dimensional works of 3 dimensional items his pictures have so much texture and depth…there is such a tactile nature to his work. His short experiments with stop motion animation are really fun as well and I hope he continues to pursue this as I’d love to see some longer movies with his unique characters.

Brilliant work. I would love, love, love to see a whole comic or children’s book illustrated this way. He’s only done covers, as far as I could tell from the site?
