Craig Frazier

Craig Frazier has one of the most instantly recognizable styles. Anyone who’s looked at an illustration or design annual from the past ten years has seen his stylish conceptual illustrations. For a look at Craig’s looser sketchier drawings, be sure to check out 98 Pages, an online mini sketchbook.

I’m glad to see the sketches since I’ve become a little burned out on his tight, vector-looking style. It’s nice to see his ‘loose’ side…they’re better than the finished product.

A lot of his work has more than a passing influence of the timeless french illustrator Guy Billout. Guy has always had that clever sensibility of surprising the viewer with twists of his reality and and stealthily combining imagery.

there are pages and pages of pieces there.
I was in a class back in art school that was lucky enough to have him come and critique our work.
