I couldn’t quite decide which of Dan Park‘s images to include with a link to his site, but I had to choose this illustration of singer Jenny Lewis.

    I was trying to find info on his site about what medium these are done in. Any idea?

    If I would have to guess, I would say that the girl and the bowl with the fish is a pencil drawing (maybe some ink, gouach or watercolor for the dark in the bottom of the bowl) He then scanned it, colored it in photoshop (the lineart as well) and then hand drew the pattern on the shirt in photoshop. Finaly he added the wallpaper-pattern, that’s probably from a stock photo with some filters over it…

    That’s how I would have done it at least:)

    I looked around his gallery and it reminds me a bit of James Jean and it looks that it was done in a similar way.
