Amazing. It reminds me of the works of Yuken Teruya, especially his “Paper Forest”, “Lost and Found” and “Giving Tree” projects.

Must be computer animated, cannot image anybody hand animating cut out letters walking away over the page at the end…
Apparently the makers claim otherwise: “The animation took 8 months to complete and is 100% handmade with a good old 10A scalpel blade.”

Good God! That was mesmerizing and intense! I can’t imagine the amount of time taken to make that if it was all by hand. I mean, the DETAIL, and it’s all so small. An amazing animation indeed!
