Last summer at the Reuben Awards I met cartoonist Andrew Feinstein, one of the creators of the comic strip Girls and Sports. We chatted at first because I thought maybe he was my doppelganger — a taller, slimmer version of myself, but soon realized that’s where the similarities ended since his strip focused on, well, girls and sports, two subjects I admittedly know very little about. They’ve got a new book out, Opening Lines, Pinky Probes and L-Bombs: The Girls & Sports Dating and Relationship Playbook, in which I can only assume he knows what he’s talking about. Then again, when we met he was wasting his time talking to me and not chatting up any beautiful ladies. You be the judge.
