Guillaume Decaux

To say that Guillaume Decaux is a multidisciplinary artist would be an understatement. His website is a collection of sketchblogs with styles so varying you’d swear they were done by different people. He says that after several years of commercial work he’s recently rediscovered the pleasure of drawing, and part of that rediscovery is a new section on his site: Live Sketches. He puts my sketchbooks to shame with his prolificacy and skill.

    Nice post John. Great stuff. Guillaume certainly has a way with a line. Thank goodness it’s Friday… now I’ll have all weekend to explore this great site.

    okay… now I’m depressed. I have two sketchbooks that I carry around in the hopes of inspiration hitting… It looks like Guillaume has more inspiration than I… Or maybe just mor discipline? Bravo for the post!

    I know what you mean about inspiriation vs. discipline…And Guillaume beats me on both counts! Still, a damn fine way to get your creativity going.
