Heroes art auction

heroes.jpg

Paintings from the NBC show Heroes will be auctioned on March 26, 6pm PST, with the proceeds going to The Epilepsy Foundation.

The paintings were made by the one and only Tim Sale, DC comic book artist and long-time Jeff Loeb collaborator; and those of you who follow the show know that they play a central role in the story.

I was early addict of Heroes, but had to distance myself after hearing the term, We’ve got to save the cheerleader! one too many times.

I’m STILL a Heroes addict…is it not cool anymore? :( I mean, Christopher Eccleston is on it now, for god’s sake. THAT is awesome.

“Save the Cheerleader, Save the World!”

I stopped watching a few weeks ago because it just got so freakin’ dumb. Shame, because I really liked the idea.

Loved the artwork in the show, too.

Well, I still watch the show. I think it keeps getting better – esp. now that they’re off the ‘save the cheerleader’ kick…

And I had wondered who did the illustrations. Thanks!
