I love Múm.

And this video is just one of the reasons why. Video for the single They Made Frogs Smoke ’til They Exploded from their new album Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy, directed and animated by Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir who also did the album artwork. Me? I’ve been a big fan of the band for several years now. Electronic blips and drum machines + stop-motion animation with paper, paint, pencils and cut out imagery = pure joy.

    i might agree that the music is indeed interesting, but what’s so exciting about blood-all-over cartoon video? i find it disgusting.
    i guess we have a lot more sick quentin tarantinos than i though.
