Iker Spozio

Iker Spozio’s posters and album art have a groovy neo-retro thing goin’ on. It’s far cry from Milton Glaser’s Dylan poster, but it’s still cool. (Thanks to Mike from the uber-cool Twink for the link)

“A far cry from Milton Glaser”? Why the back-handed compliment? I think several of the pieces stand up on their own accord and the comparison is purely peripheral and utterly tangential.
Shine on, you crazy Iker, and don’t let the man keep you down.

I’m actually wicked impressed with the !Twink! !Link! (it needs many exclamation points) … and I’m thinking about buying their album, honestly.

But artists like that make me jealous that I’ll never be that talented, while tickling me cross eyed with beauty!

I didn’t notice anyplace you could buy any of his posters on that site, am I just overlooking it?

I really like his style. It seems like a cross between Mucha and Adobe Illustrator…does that make any sense?

Whatever the case, that’s some good $*@! Especially the Sunray poster.

    inspiration

i really like this style of design; 70’s, blocky, screenprint, bold. it’s refreshing to see work like this in today’s world, that is saturated by gleaming, clinical and over-complicated computerized design.
