Iraq and a Hard Place

Tomer Hanuka is donating all proceeds from the sale of this print to the ICMC, a charity that assists Iraqi refugees.

The illustration was for a Mother Jones article about the growing Iraqi refugee crisis. I think it’s his greatest work yet.

Displaced Iraqis have largely been overlooked since the war began, but their plight was described as, “the world’s fastest growing humanitarian crisis,” by Refugees International.
