Jen Drummond is an indie filmmaker/animator living just outside of Athens, GA. She originally lived in Austin, TX, working at Flat Black Films, Bob Sabiston’s film company, where she worked on some of Bob’s films, such as ROADHEAD, SNACK AND DRINK, and WAKING LIFE. (His company is currently working with Linklater on A SCANNER DARKLY.) After moving to Georgia, Jen has made a couple of short animations utilizing the “interpolated rotoscoping” program that has made Sabiston famous (dubbed “RotoShop”). Jen’s latest short film, F.E.D.S., is currently touring as part of The Animation Show (mentioned earlier). Check it out, if you can. Nice colors and interesting use of that unique rotoscoping program.
