San Francisco skateboard artist Jeremy Fish has become one of my favorite “stumbled upon” finds. There’s an almost subversive quality to his illustrations, meshing unrelated pop objects such as skulls, wood and “silly pink bunnies,” (to quote the title of his site) all together in a strange brew. Not just limited to the skater realm, he also has shows in galleries. Nice line quality and limited use of the palette. And I dig his quirky humor, too.
