If there’s anything remotely associated with Jim Flora, then I’ll post about it. Sorry, but that’s just the way it is with me. Honestly, I can’t get enough of Flora’s stylings, characters, and color. So you can imagine the shock when I found out that Flora was color-blind.
All this week, our ol’ pal Leif Peng has passed the TI blogging reins to Irwin Chusid to give us more insight about Jim Flora and to post some barely and rarely seen illustrations done by this well-loved and often-imitated artist. Here are the daily links:
Day One: Jim Flora
Day Two: Jim Flora’s Coda
Day Three: Making a Piece of Excitement
Day Four: The “Rapid-Turnover Freelance Factory”
Day Five: “This boy’s going to be a commercial artist.”
Day Six: Jiving Teens
