    Yeah, very nicely done, wonderful composition, depth, all the bells and whistles… but at lot of those bells toll an awful lot like James Jean. Not that that is bad… I wish I could pull that off.

    This woman is seriously talented in many areas. One thing to remember is that she’s just out of school and her influences are going to be obvious–to some–until she finds her true artistic voice, which may take some time to emerge. This artist has definitely got something, and I predict she will be a real force in illustration unless she gets caught in that corporate maw of forcing her work to look just like everyone else’s. In fact, I’d like to see her try freelance, but that’s tough when you’re just out of school. I’d imagine a good agent would snap her right up.
