Admit it — you judge books by their covers. We all do. Designer and illustrator Julia Rothman does too, and she does it for all to see on her marvelous blog, aptly named Book By Its Cover. The categories even look like a description of my bookshelves: children’s, comics, design, fine art… And the critiques aren’t limited to the covers; Rothman digs into the images buried within the pages, too. Finally, a book review site that focuses on what’s important — the pictures.
