To animate means, quite literally, to instill with life, and what better way to illustrate the idea than in a stop-motion version of the Adam & Eve parable. L’Animateur (or The Animator) is an exquisite piece of work by Nick Hilligoss.

I’m just blown away… I love everything about it. The animation is great and the interaction between the humans an the ”animator” is just fab!

My favorite part of this animation is the initial lift – the way the animator’s hand lifts Adam to life…such palpable weight and movement there.
Hey Johnny – I noticed that you linked to Nick’s MyToons page – did you know that you can also embed with the MyToons player? It’s a little bit more hi-rez than YouTube, which is always a plus when watching killer animation, right?
Anyhow – pumped to see this live; I’m a huge Hilligoss fan!
