Luca Tieri, now in book form

In September I posted a link to the work of Italian cartoonist Luca Tieri. Well, now Luca has a new sketchbook for sale, and if you already thought his bright colours looked like candy, wait til you see them on glossy colours. I won’t lie; I licked the book a couple times.

Luca’s little sketchbook, the Art of Luca Tieri, is published through the Department of Art and Power, a new online art store and publishing venture in which the goal is to allow any artist anywhere in the world to sell anything to anyone. The store is still quite new, and only offering a limited catalogue during its beta period, but I really like what they’re doing as it’s very pro-artist. It’s also a great place to get the previously-posted Meathaus books, as well as work by Stuart Immonen and Bobby Chiu… oh, and a kick-ass Joel Trussell button!
