Macabre paper automata

Cool4Cats produces some great papercraft automata kits, and this one, Feeding Time at the Zoo is delightfully creepy.

    Maybe I’m wrong about this, but if “The Shipwreck” is supposed to represent the epic “unsinkable” Titanic, I thought the Titanic was traveling from London to New York not the other way around…

    Thanks for your kind remarks about my kits! And yes, I know the ship is going ‘the wrong way’. A good observation, but in fact the ship (S.S.CARDBORDIA) exists in a parallel universe, entirely made of paper, where things sometimes happen backwards. Viewers will also know that this universe overlaps in a strange way with DRAWN!

    hey, i once made an automata too… it was a kissing dolls where two dolls kissed when you turn the lever around… but these are waaaay cooooler! haha… can I download it or something?
