Watch Madame Tutli Putli in HD online

We’re putting a bunch of HD movies online today over at NFB.ca – and one of the films on offer is a beautiful HD full-length version of the Oscar-nominated animated short, Madame Tutli-Putli (watch above).

Madame Tutli-Putli is the dark and beautiful creation of animators Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski – from the animation house, Clyde Henry.

Other HD animated films on offer are the Oscar-winning CG animated-short, Ryan (Chris Landreth) – which looks stunning in HD, btw, the Oscar-nominated short Walking (Ryan Larkin), Oscar-nominee The Cat Came Back (Cordell Barker) and a 3D version of Drux Flux by Theodore Ushev – which you can also watch right on your monitor if you have a pair of glasses kicking around.     I saw the 3D version of Drux Flux and Falling In Love Again at Ottawa last year, and I was as impressed with the former as I was disappointed with the latter. Can't wait to watch Madame Tutli-Putli later on, though. Been wanting to see that for a while.

    Is there any chance the NFB will ever put up Facing Champlain? That stole the show at the Stereolab presentation, and I'd love to watch it again.

    Absolutely gorgeous work, but what is up with the viewer? It would only preload a few seconds at a time. Then, when I had worked bit by bit through the whole piece, I pressed the play button hoping to watch it without interruptions, and it started loading from scratch again. What a dreadful way to treat a beautiful piece of art.
