Mighty Bill Traylor

billA so- called “street- corner Matisse”, Bill Traylor was born into slavery, and picked up the drawing habit (self taught) at age 85. For the last few years of his life, Mr. Traylor sat on the sidewalk in Montgomery, Alabama and drew what he saw and remembered. Respect.
